Szuper Diskont, 2024

Szuper Diskont, a show with fiber artist Martina Taylor, was the final exhibition at Arom Gallery's Budapest location. Located in the heart of the city, Astoria, the opening attracted a diverse group of artists, art-lovers and printmakers.

My work drastically changed due to living and working in Hungary, with many tools and supplies unavailable. I primarily used collage, photography, video, and risography in order to create the ten works shown.

The uniting theme of the works was use of tape, a dominating global force often unnoticed. Essential yet destructive, I sought to comment on the fragility of constant  change.

I am grateful to those who participated in and helped organize the filming process, and owe much Professor Kristina Paabus for her guidance and wisdom.

Thank you:
